Michael Loffler announced release of openSUSE 11.3 RC1 for testing and testing. Loffler asks us to buckle up for a soft landing on July 15, when it will release final version.
So far, this RC1 has been reported only one error, so it is remarkable how developers effort and teamwork, refining openSUSE daily.

Debian 6.0 " Squeeze " freeze in August?
Barrat dam, launch team of Debian project announced so that all developers are hoping to finish integrating changes caused by the distribution upgrade to Python 2.6. Once that happens it is planned to eventually freeze development of Debian 6.0 "Squeeze." Barrat estimated that freeze will happen at end of next August.
