Install Gnome Photo Frame 1.0.1 in Ubuntu


Gnome Photo Frame is an application that allows you to display your photos as a slideshow on your desktop.

The photos can be selected from our local folder or through plugins from image hosting sites such as Flickr or Tumblr.

Besides being able to see photos in full screen, we are able to observe them in a framework which we can supply from its Preferences menu as pixels.

Install Shotwell 0.7.2 in Ubuntu


Shotwell, manager and editor of graphics that come by default in Ubuntu 10.10 has been updated to version 0.7.2

To have this new version need to have their PPA added to our list of sources. So open a Terminal and run to install following lines:sudo add-apt-repository ppa:yorba/ppa
